About

Hello! My name is Carissa Christensen (formerly Carissa Crittenden). I’m a 5x Certified Salesforce.com Administrator & Developer in Iowa. I have a BSBA in Marketing and Management from Drake University.

From Then

In 2013, I was a marketing intern at a small software company in Des Moines. On the cusp of graduating from Drake, the CEO of our little 12 person company thought I was the right person to manage (and implement) Salesforce. So, as my first project as a full time employee (and with no prior experience with Salesforce), I managed a Salesforce implementation. What an adventure that was! What things I would change if I could go back and do it again (I mean really, why didn’t I just use record types from the get go?).

To Now

Over the years, I’ve spent as much time as I can learning about Salesforce, bringing as many external processes in to Salesforce as I can to make reporting easier. I have discovered a passion for process improvement and love finding ways to make processes in and out of Salesforce more efficient. I am proud to say I am a Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, and Platform Developer I.

In the evenings, you can find me hanging out at home with my dogs, a good audio book, and my sewing machine.
